Vision behind ReelSaga

ReelSaga (“ReelSaga”) is a platform created by ReelSaga Innovations Private Limited (“We / Company / Us”) to provide users an uninterrupted and safe space to consume audio-visual content without having to worry about unjust solicitation of any personal or proprietary information (“Service(s)”). Your destination for discovering and enjoying a diverse range of curated short audio-video content.

We created the Community Guidelines so you can help us foster and protect this amazing community. By using ReelSaga, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. We’re committed to cultivating an environment characterized by respect and constructive engagement. The platform aims to be a space where users can appreciate the provided audio-video content and participate in related discussions, where applicable features exist (such as comment sections), in a manner that is respectful to others and compliant with legal standards. Any violation to these Guidelines may result in termination of your account, or other restrictions as we may deem fit.

These guidelines apply comprehensively to all forms of user activity and interaction occurring on the ReelSaga platform. This scope includes, but is not limited to, any comments posted, information provided in user profiles (such as usernames or avatars, if applicable), engagement actions like liking or sharing content (where available), use of reporting functions, and any other interactive features that ReelSaga may introduce. These rules specifically govern user conduct and the nature of user interactions within the platform's ecosystem. They do not pertain to the uploading or hosting of user-generated content, as ReelSaga does not offer such functionality.

Any user of ReelSaga should keep in mind the following key principles:

Be Yourself: Use your authentic names, don’t impersonate any other person/brand/entity.
Be Respectful: Respect each and every person on the platform. Don’t abuse or humiliate.
Be Inclusive: Welcome diverse people and perspectives. Do not discriminate over gender, identity, caste, tribe, religion, values, race or ethnicity (This is not exhaustive). Any type of discrimination is a violation.
No Copyright Infringement: Do not violate any intellectual property or other proprietary rights.

The integrity and safety of our Community and our users means a lot to us. In order to keep the Community as efficient and helpful as possible, we expect you to observe these guidelines which include the following:

Be careful about the information that you post. Keep in mind that your interaction with content will be available for all users of ReelSaga.
Always use appropriate and respectful language when interacting with any content. Avoid racist, sexist, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, obscene, condescending, or otherwise offensive language that could be considered detrimental to other users, or ReelSaga employees or moderators.
Do not post links to malware, trojan viruses, or otherwise malicious content.
Do not spam any of the users while using the services of the Company.
Do not run your own contests in this Community.

Do not use any ReelSaga logo or trade name as your avatar or user name, or otherwise pose as a ReelSaga employee or moderator when posting on ReelSaga.

Please always be respectful when using the website/application, and avoid any conduct or interaction which, in the sole discretion of ReelSaga:

is offensive, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, paedophilic, obscene, condescending;
is illegal, or intended to promote or commit an illegal act of any kind, including but not limited to, violations of intellectual property rights, privacy rights or proprietary rights;
is sexually explicit or promotes sexual services;
includes personal data of third parties or is intended to solicit such personal data;
Includes malicious content, such as malware, trojan horses or viruses;
Includes your or any other user’s password;
Involves the transmission of unsolicited mass mailing or "spamming", or junk mail, chain letters or similar;
Involves commercial or sales activities, such as advertising, contests, sweepstakes, or pyramid schemes;
Links or references to commercial products or services;
Depicts women in an inappropriate or derogatory manner;
Contains hateful or discriminatory speech;
Promotes or supports terror or hate groups;
Contains instructions on how to assemble explosive/incendiary devices or homemade/improvised firearms;
Exploits or endangers minors;
Depicts or encourages self-harm or suicide;
Depicts (1) unlawful real-world acts of extreme violence, or (2) animal cruelty or extreme violence towards animals;
Interferes with or disrupts the Community; or
Otherwise conflicts with the Community Terms or these Guidelines.

Rules

When you use ReelSaga, you agree to follow the below-mentioned rules. You also agree not to encourage others to violate the rules.

You must use a real name or identity on the platform.
You must not engage in abusing, bullying, or harassment of any person or groups of people in any form.
You must not discriminate against, engage in hateful conduct directed at, or threaten violence, hatred or harm towards an individual or group based on race, religion, gender identity or expression, sex, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or disability or other characteristics associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization.
You must not encourage others to do anything that could put themselves or anyone else in serious physical harm. This includes, but isn’t limited to, dangerous challenges and/or acts of suicide and/or self-harm.
You must not share, threaten to share, or incentivize the sharing of other people’s private information without their prior permission.
You must not engage in intentionally disruptive activity that negatively affects the experience of other users.
You must not use content which incites features graphic or gratuitous depictions of violence, gore, or other shocking elements.
You must avoid content that contains sexually explicit material such as:
- -Pornography and other similar graphic depictions of sexual acts for the purpose of sexual gratification;
- -Depictions or descriptions of genitalia or nudity presented for the purpose of sexual gratification;
- -Advocating or glorifying sexual themes related to rape, incest, or bestiality.
You shall not transcribe, record, or otherwise reproduce and/or share information obtained in ReelSaga without prior permission from ReelSaga.
You shall not engage in any conversations or upload any content that violates any intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any third-party and/or other users.
You shall not spread false information or spam, or artificially amplify or suppress information.
You shall not share or promote information (or synthetic or manipulated media) that is intended or likely to cause harm to any person or groups of people, including minors.
You shall not use the platform for the purpose of conducting any unauthorized or illegal activities.
You shall avoid the content that impersonates others in a way that is intended or likely to deceive. This includes posing as another person, or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person, brand, or organization.
You shall restrict any kind of spam on ReelSaga for its users. Spam includes, but isn't limited to:
- Content made solely to improve SEO or promote a product or service;
- Mass publishing identical or indistinguishable content that directs listeners to potentially harmful sites or services.
You shall not use an offensive text, audio, video, screen name (e.g., explicit language) or avatar/poster/image etc. (e.g., containing nudity).
You shall not use or export any of ReelSaga’s services in violation of any Indian laws and/or laws of the country wherein the said services are being utilized.
You shall not engage in any unlawful activity.

Incident Reporting

We depend on the vigilance of each user and the community to report violations of community guidelines. If you believe a user has violated any of the guidelines, you can report that incident via the report button on the platform or can directly mail us at contact@reelsaga.in.

The reporting mechanism and suspension of accounts shall be governed as per the Terms of Use.

Note: Inappropriate use of the incident reporting system or intentional, false reports are against our rules and are taken seriously. We will take action as mentioned in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Application Of Other Policies

These Community Guidelines shall be read in conjunction with the other policies of ReelSaga, including without limitation, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

Update to Guidelines

These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the ReelSaga platform, its features, community standards, or applicable legal and regulatory requirements. ReelSaga reserves the right to modify these guidelines at its discretion. Users will be informed of significant updates to the guidelines through appropriate means, which may include platform notifications, email communications, or other methods deemed suitable by ReelSaga. Continued use of the ReelSaga platform following the notification of updated guidelines will constitute acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review the guidelines periodically to stay informed.
